John Lewis have released their Christmas Advert (above), which means that it is now officially 'ok' to talk about the festive season. In reaction to the advert a plethora of parodies have appeared on the internet tickle and delight, as apposed to increase revenue for the retailer.
John Lewis have spent a reported £7m on their Christmas ad campaign, which sees the launch of their latest mascot, Buster The Dog, into the stratosphere ...from a trampoline.
Making sure that the advert hits the spot is vital, with John Lewis making 20% of their annual sales and 40% of their profits over the Christmas period.
In a week of bizarre events, John Lewis have definitely lifted some spirits but not as much as the parodies. Here are a few of them.
